Sean Sims is recognized as a Fenestration expert with over 26 years of residential and commercial experience in the installation of windows and doors as well as general contracting and construction management.

Since 2004, Sean Sims has been a California Licensed General Contractor in addition to holding a C-17 Glazing and C-61/D-28 Doors, Gates and Activating Devices Contractor License. He also maintains two highly specialized fenestration certifications, the FenestrationMaster Professional Certification and the InstallationMasters Certified Installer, both from the Fenestration & Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA). FGIA is the sole authority for industry professional certifications through the now-unified American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AMMA) and Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance (IGMA). Sean is one of only a small group of exceptional professionals nationwide who have earned the FenestrationMaster Professional Certification.

Sean serves as a construction consultant providing building code analysis, standard of care evaluation, and general construction investigation. He has been retained on litigated and non-litigated matters where he has provided testimony and opinions related to construction defect, habitability, and personal injury claims.

Sean’s additional construction credentials include the Residential Building Inspector certification from the International Code Council and the OSHA 30 Hour Outreach Training Program.
