Michael L. Gross, General Contractor, is a Senior Construction Consultant with over 25 years of experience in construction defect consulting, handling over 350 cases and 19+ years of hands-on construction experience.

With a California State Contractors License and certification from the FIGA’s program, Michael is a trusted expert in the areas of code compliance, the standard of care evaluation, cost estimating, HVAC evaluation and analysis, visual inspections, and more.

He has provided litigation support and managed ongoing defect claims for residential, commercial, re-construction, and high-rise projects. Michael’s extensive background makes him a reliable and knowledgeable resource for any construction-related matter.

In one such case, Mr. Gross represented an HVAC contractor who was accused of improperly installing flexible ducting in multiple tracts of single-family houses located in Reno, NV. Mr. Gross inspected the homes, analyzed various documents with additional information, and concluded that the materials used were sufficient and the installation methods utilized were proper. His opinion ultimately prevailed upon the special master resulting in a dismissal of the plaintiff’s case.
