We are looking for a Construction Cost Estimator to staff our Huntington Beach, CA office. As a member of the LCS forensic team, you’ll work closely with our team of licensed architects, engineers, and general contractors to provide cost estimating for construction defect litigation. Responsibilities include determining the cost and budget for corrective measures and assisting in the litigation support process.

Essential Functions

• Evaluate the scope of damages.
• Evaluation of estimating methodology, scope of work, quantity take-offs, and unit costs.
• Develop recommended corrective measures.
• Prepare repair estimates and reports.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• 7+ years cost estimator experience.
• Scope development.
• Experience with construction processes and sequencing.
• Reconstruction.
• Proficient with estimating software and / or Excel.
• Skills in information analysis and report writing.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-managed and ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
